Egress Code Compliance (IRC & Local)

The Code: All egress windows must meet the following minimum requirements:

Net Clear Opening: Minimum 5.7 square feet.

Dimensions: Minimum height of 24 inches and minimum width of 20 inches.

Sill Height: Must be less than 44 inches from the floor.

Window Well: Required for sills below grade, with a minimum area of 9 square feet.
